WHO WE ARE
At Delta Foundation, we work hard to provide hope to communities in Seattle, Washington, and the Democratic Republic of Congo by providing life-changing necessities. We help address and remove barriers that create poverty.
We work to dismantle poverty through community, education, supplies, and empowerment. We provide the essentials that allow our neighbors in Seattle to live with dignity and hope! We believe that all people should have access to quality food, shelter, healthcare, education, and opportunity regardless of their economic status.
FROM OUR FLYER
A Safe Place. A Second Chance.
OUR MISSION
OUR VISION
Our vision is a world where no one is left outside, unseen, or forgotten where every person is valued, respected, and has the opportunity to thrive. We aspire to build compassionate, inclusive communities where everyone has access to safety, support, and a place to call home. A world where dignity is a basic right and every individual is empowered to live with stability, confidence, and purpose.
Our mission is to support those with nowhere else to turn by providing safe shelter and compassionate care. We work to restore dignity, rebuild confidence, and empower individuals to regain control of their lives. Through guidance, connection, and ongoing support, we help people move from crisis to stability, independence, and renewed purpose.
OUR MOTIVATION
WHY WE DO SHELTERS
We are committed to shelter because no human being should feel abandoned or exposed to the world's hardships. A safe place provides more than protection, it restores dignity, rebuilds confidence, and gives people the strength to start again. Shelter is where survival turns into recovery, and recovery turns into opportunity.
We focus on shelter because safety is the first step to healing. Without a safe place to sleep, no one can rebuild their life. Shelter is not just a roof-it's the foundation of dignity, stability, and hope.
